Research has shown that carpet actually acts as an air filter, trapping allergens so they can’t circulate in the air. In fact, in one study where carpet use was reduced by 70%, allergic reactions increased by 30%. If you properly clean and maintain your carpet, there is no better floor option to mitigate asthma and allergy issues.
